Nike Chosen

Nike Chosen

Nike is known as the worlds largest athletic brand. Action sports is no exception. Nike has been grown in the action sports world slowly and methodically over the last decade. All of their efforts have accumulated in the Summer of 2011 with the “Chosen” advertising campaign. It was a all in effort from television to print media involvement. Nike came to Seeworthy on several fronts to support the Chosen. First we were hired to create mock Chosen videos for there Chosen viral video competition.  We created and delivered several unique videos that Nike used to help launch there online video competition along with a video explaining how to make a viral video.

Once the campaign  was in full effect we were brought on to provide support for the physical bus tour that provided awareness of the online competition along with the Chosen campaign. Seeworthy provided on location production services for the bus tour video series. From shooting snowboarding on a mountain one day to shooting off the back of a jet ski in the surf the next, we provided a flexible and adaptive production team.

Here are a couple of the videos from the tour.

Surfline Speak Up

Surfline Speak Up

We recently cranked out a rush job for Surfline (by rush we mean, less than week from creative brief to deliverables). We brought on Amy Hood of Hoodzpah Art and Graphics to design our intro graphics and help out with shoot. She did an amazing job not only as a Art Designer but as master puppeteer. The show is basic but we really wanted to have a fun intro for the episodes. We cut together 8 episodes for the Hurley sponsored summer show which will air all summer on Surfline.

Here is the first episode: Speak Up, Who Will Win Jeffery’s Bay (ASP World Tour event)?

Here is a step by step guide to how we did it!

Step 1 – Print graphics and prep foam core.
Step 2 – Add glue to graphic
Step 3 – Cut out graphic with attached foam core.
Step 4 – Pose with Speak Up bubble.
Step 5 – Cut more.
Step 6 – Continue to cut.
Step 7 – Assess you’re cut outs. Celebrate.
Step 8 – Get to beach, break out the supplies.
Step 9 – Build your set.
Step 10 – Set up dolly track, camera and props.
Step 11 – Muti task puppeting, shoot.
Step 12 – Edit and export.
Seea Product Video

Seea Product Video

Seea contacted us about creating a product video for there Summer 2011 collection. They make specialized woman’s swimsuits tailored just for surfing. It was important for them to show off there fashionable suits not only on the beach but also out in the water. Shooting girls in swimsuits is hard to make look bad but we wanted to do a little more than just throw up shots of girls rolling around on the sand. So we created a simple little storyline and used split frames to help keep the action rolling. The result is a pretty cool product video. Enjoy.

Surfline Super Session

Surfline Super Session

Surfline contacted us to put together a “Super Sessions” video for them to feature on their website. After working on some other projects with Kelly Slater and Nate Yeomans down at lowers we were able to put this little video together for them. A Super Sessions is a time sensitive piece so turn around was about a day after shooting. All in all it is a fun clip. Lately we have been playing around a lot with sound and new ways to include it in surfing videos. A touch more work in audio design adds a lot more production value to the piece.

The Gudauskas’s Cut For ESPN Surfing

The Gudauskas’s Cut For ESPN Surfing

After a long month in Australia helping the Gudasuskas brothers on some video projects, we took the leftover footage and mixed this video for ESPN Surfing.

It’s a little update for the Gudang fans on what this frothing trio have been up to. It was mixed together by none other than Hendo.

You can check out the video on ESPN here.
